The second session continued what had begun at the first

Grand opening of the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the sixth convocation, which took place on February, 5, unfortunately, did not remove contradictions between majority and opposition, and consequently the reasons for deblocking of work of the parliament.
The Chairman of the parliament Arseniy Yatsenyuk closed the first and opened the second session of the Verkhovna Rada, deputies tried to approve the agenda. However, again because of contradictions the consent about the order of consideration of questions was not achieved. The blockade continued. It was planned to find a compromise during the consultations of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada with chairmen of parliamentary factions.

Vladyslav Lukyanov, Party of regions:

– We’ve blocked up the work of the Verkhovna Rada because there were breaches of order and agreements in relation to the text of regulations concerning NATO.

Liliya Grygorovych, “Our Ukraine – National self-defence”:

– It seems to me that Party of regions has got in its own trap and does not know how to get out of it.

Mykola Katerynchuk, “Our Ukraine – National self-defence”:

– Communists and deputies from Party of regions speak about the recall of signature of Arseniy Yatsenyuk under the “letter of three”, however, presence or absence of signature does not influence on the question about participation of Ukraine in the PDP realization.
