“Do Not Let Us Take the Course of Allowing Events to Drift Along Until It Is Too Late”

The fragments of Winston Churchill’s speech before the students of Westminster College in the town of Fulton, which became a momentous event in the international life in the post-war years, are recited. The author reflects upon the relevance of this speech of the founder of anti-Hitler coalition in the period of the Second World War for the world society in modern times, in particular in the estimation of aggression of Russia against Ukraine, and the necessity to fight against international terrorism.r
