Anti-Corruption Reform in Ukraine: Role and Importance of the Prosecution Authorities as the Coordinator for Counteracting Crime and Corruption

Legal description of the new anti-corruption legislation of Ukraine and the anti-corruption bodies established on its basis is given. Legal regulation of organizational and legislative principles for prosecution coordination of the law enforcement authorities’ activities while counteracting crime and corruption is provided.
As a result of the study, priorities to successfully implement the anti-corruption law are identified, as well as the role and importance of the prosecution authorities in this process is outlined. 2015 is pointed to become crucial for the relevant legal education campaign and recruitment of personnel for the newly created structures, so the state authorities have to simultaneously focus on the judicial reform.
