The high orbit of the chief designer

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of academician Volodymyr UTKIN

All at the same time business and festive atmosphere prevailed at the enlarged meeting of the coordination council of the collaborative works of the State enterprise “Construction office “Southern” named after M.K. Yangel” and research institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The general agreement on cooperation in the field of rocketry was signed in 2012. Participants of the meeting summed up the preliminary results and made a plan for the joint research activity for 2014. Then the formal part of the meeting began, it was devoted to the 90th anniversary of the famous chief designer of the construction office “Southern”, twice Hero of Socialist Labor, the laureate of the Lenin and state prizes, academician Volodymyr Utkin.
