Petro OSADCHUK: “I have one special gene which I received form the ancestors”

The known poet, publicist and public figure Petro OSADCHUK during eight deputy years has afforded to repeat oneself only in the buffet of the Verkhovna Rada. Daily he pronounced the shortest parliamentary speech: “Give me a cup of coffee - black like a plague and strong like a gipsy who stole a horse”. A permanent consumer and glorifier of aromatic beverage was born on Decembers, 2, 1937 in Ostrivets village of Gorodenkivskyi district of Ivano-Frankivsk region in a peasant family. He graduated from the Odesa State University where he studied at the philological faculty. He is an author of over thirty poetic collections. He was a deputy of two convocations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (1990–1998). He honestly visited all session meetings, and in the hall he wrote both the amendments to the laws and acute, sometimes even suffocating, bilious miniatures. He has been writing them so far as well.
