Index analysis of Presidential power according to the Constitution of Ukraine

Constitutional status of the President of Ukraine and his real plenary powers have been substantially changed and acquired new essence during all periods of existence of the independent state. Since returning to the constitutional principles, which operated from 1996 to 2004, the issue about plenary powers of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has become of current importance. Therefore it is expedient to return to the past experience of existence of presidential-parliamentarian republic and retrospective review of presidential plenary powers of Leonid Kuchma.
