They shine in the capital theater “Mirror”, which was born in 1981
For the quarter of century the theatre headed by the producer Volodymyr Petranyuk has won wide recognition, experienced heavy period of reconstruction and travelled all around the world: performed in London and Novosibirsk, Paris and Warsaw.
In 2004 it came back to Kyiv where it concentrated forces on a new direction – revival of spiritual inheritance of native people, embodiment of ethnic and folk-lore models in musically-dramatic performances and since January, 1, 2006 it has begun to become known as a theatre of Ukrainian tradition “Mirror”.
