Musical heart of Odessa

If the Potyomkinski stairs are known to be a visiting card of Odessa, then the theater of opera and ballet can be by right considered a “musical heart”.
People in Odessa are sure in it and can prove it with the help of figures and facts that there is no such second theater with such luxury of the architectural and internal decorating, such acoustics of hall in Europe.

By the Decree of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko the status of national is given to the Odessa Theater of opera and ballet. That is the state took the theater under its patronage, acknowledged it to be a national property. And thank God!
