Elections under the mark of populism

“Have you personally felt the consequences of difficult financial and economic situation in Ukraine?”. For many candidates at local elections on October, 25, it is a key question from which the communication with electors should start. According to the last survey of “Democratic initiatives” fund and Razumkov Center, 59.2 percent of citizens answered this question “Yes, and to the great extent” (in crisis 2008– 32.7 percent), “No” – only 2.3 percent (in comparison with 16.5 percent in 2008).
