Crash of Greek populism?

This summer Greece managed to push out from the first columns such traditional newsmakers as the Islamic state and the separatists on Donbas. In August it seemed that the situation will simply develop further. Upon receipt of consent from international creditors for the aid in the amount of over EUR 80 billion, the country had to relax and pass to the path of quiet renewal. But on the last days of summer Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras decided to resign. Handing in an application to President of the country Prokopis Pavlopoulos, Tsipras asked to schedule the pre-term elections to the parliament as soon as possible. People close to the Premier hope that the elections will take place on September, 20. And it means that Greece is again in the area of pre-election turbulence.
