Operation “Evacuation”

Presently Donetsk National University is in two parallel realities. Officially the educational establishment moved to Vinnytsia in 2014. But the reality is that in Donetsk its “twin” operates under the jurisdiction of so-called DNR and also carries out the entrance campaign. The worst thing in this situation is that all scientific background (equipment, libraries, premises) remained on the territory which is not controlled by Ukraine. The participants of “round table” at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Science and Education discussed how teachers and students of this and other higher educational establishments, which were evacuated from Donetsk and Luhansk regions, feel in such not simple times.
