Police: Test mode

The law goes behind the reform. New Kyiv police has started to iron their form for the solemn giving an oath and their first night duty on July, 4, and the coalition in the Verkhovna Rada held off until the adoption of the new legislation act, which regulates the activity of the service, on which so many hopes were put. As a result - as of July, 8, the law “On the national police”, adopted in the first reading, had not even being handed over to be signed by the President. Thus, the critics got an objective reason to state the following: patrolling the streets of the capital – is just “show-off” and profanation, because the activity of new police officers is not yet regulated by legislation and administrative protocols drawn up by them can be litigated by any court.
