Chronicle of protests

Prologue to the critical moment of three month protests in Ukraine was the Folk meeting on February, 16 in the Independence Square in Kyiv. At this meeting leader of Svoboda Party Oleh Tyahnybok called Ukrainians and activists of Euromaidan to picket the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a requirement to accept the constitutional act on returning to the 2004 Constitution. All accesses to the main house of the parliament were surrounded by security forces.
