The constitutional process: a new political model for Ukraine

During two years in Ukraine the Constitutional Assembly has been working. Due to certain political circumstances this authority, which was established by the Presidential Decree, operates as a permanent expert forum where new ideas the most important political and legal reform are developed and actually a new political model for our country are elaborated. These ideas were first discussed in the relevant committees of the Assembly and were then tested in the special working group formed to finalize the draft concept of amendments to the Constitution, and, finally, they were defined in this document at the plenary session of the Constitutional Assembly, December 6, 2013.
