Kid became a “Titan”

Of all the prominent players in the present Norwegian Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen has the prettiest nickname - Kid. Of course, his origin is connected with the work of Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren, to be exact - one of the main characters of children's books. However this parallel has nothing to do with a sporty image of the Norwegian - in the all history of chess there are few players who are cruelly and relentlessly dealt with their rivals. In that same spirit Carlsen had a fight in his first match for the world crown.
