Self-portrait from imagination

Colors penetrated to the soul. Every my picture is my self-portrait. I cannot leave drawing like I cannot leave my body. Far between ravines there was Melnykove-Kulebine settlement. It was Gadyatska land of Poltava area. I was born in December 1938 in a peasant family and was the third child of my mother Olha Kuleba. The earth was frozen, the settlement dozed. Sitting with a spinning-wheel, my grandmother Ulyana was waiting for my birth. She was fated to bring me back to life because I was tangled with umbilical cord: “Oh, my grandchild will wonder around the world! Let’s call her Vira!”.
