Stamps: witnesses of the thorny gait to the freedom

Exhibition “1000 years of Ukrainian stamp’’. Kyiv. Ukrainian Museum of National History

They are the mirrors of rebellious history, imprints of the events that had been occurring for centuries at the Ukrainian land. With this idea the visitor begins the observation of unique exposition, created with the mutual efforts of ascetics from National historical museum and Museum of historical and cultural relics of Sheremetyev family. Antique objects came to the exhibition from 15 leading museums of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Chernihiv. Also there are quite a few Kyiv specimens.
