Money of migrant workers save close people and… a state

Why do Ukrainians spend money earned by very hard work abroad so unskillfully?

Migrant workers are good workers but bad investors. Such opinion was expressed by Manfred Propfazi, the chairman of representative Office of Migration International Organization in Ukraine during “the round table” “Problems of legal defense of rights of Ukrainian migrant workers in Europe” organized by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Legislation Institute. It follows to carry out more “clever” capital investments, develop own business, and not to keep money in a stocking. And here Consul General of Poland in Kyiv Rafal Wolski marked that exactly the money of migrant workers who returned to Poland on a massive scale in 2009–2010 rescued the state from the consequences of the world economic crisis helped “ to keep a head above water”.
