“Our mothers’ fates are so alike...”

For over quarter of century on the field of revival and development of the national culture the known charity organization – the Ukrainian Cultural Fund – has been operating. Its employees and numerous supporters work according to the certain long-term programs. One of the most important is named “Memory”. Among its main tasks is the revival of the forgotten pages of historical and cultural legacy of our people, immortalization of prominent events and names, celebration of important dates, conduction of literature and artistic arrangements.
According to this program, the Ukrainian Cultural Fund carried many notable businesses, and two arrangements had a special significance. They concern the extraordinarily tragic pages in the history of Ukrainian people, and that is why they were supported by thousands of our citizens morally and with money, and became national, without exaggeration.
