– thinks Halyna Stelmaschuk, art critic, author of numerous books about the history of Ukrainian clothes. For almost forty years she has been collecting and studding the ethnographic material and publishing the books about how Ukrainians used to dress from the oldest times till nowadays. Halyna convinces in her scientific works that folk clothes is the form which keeps the deep idea of the nation, spiritual source of life-giving creativity of exceptionally talented and smart people.
