Island of good for “no one’s” animals

A year ago the Kharkiv community was actively discussing the problem of stray animals. The fact that somehow unnoticed their number significantly increased. At night they ran in packs, arranging “concerts” and awaking all around. Suddenly something happened that happened: dogs started to attack people. It became scary to walk courtyards and even the streets at night. Non-systematic entrapment of stray dogs by utilities had rather negative effect. Animal advocates began to talk about the inhumane treatment of the poor dogs and cats. The word “sterilization”, like a lifeline, increasingly sounded in discussions. But where get the money? It was getting on for Euro 2012. There was another county heard from stray dogs to participate the meeting of foreigners...
