The island of treasures will not live at the expanse of the state

A new membership of deputies of Koreyizka settlement council has already developed measures on invigoration of economy of settlement, its accomplishment and creation of conditions for tourist rest not only during a tourist season but also during the whole year.

A rope-way on Ay-Petri is the only one in Europe that has an unsupported1860 meters long section. Its lower station is located at a height of 86 meters above sea level. Carriages overcome this way at a speed of 6 meters per second, and the upper station at 8 meters per second.

The moment of becoming airborne reminds a take-off of an airplane: the machine retracts and in an instant you find yourself at a height of 120 meters above earth.

A rope-way carriage, as well as a train, has its own braking distance that is 2–2,5 meters. Weight of a carriage – 1,5 tons. “Flight above an abyss” lasts a quarter of an hour. Flying up above the luxurious green dress of mountainous Crimea, you feel here like a desired guest. On the journey there is one transfer at the middle station. From here, literally in 15 minutes, we have a bird’s-eye view of the South beach (1153 meters above sea level).
