The system of statutory regulations is in the area of migratory processes regulation

Modern migratory tendencies substantially influence on the formation of the national policy, and, in opinion of the specialists, in the nearest prospect this influence will increase considerably. The peculiarity of the situation for Ukraine is determined by that it was a part of the former USSR for a long time, and that is why it was separated from the world practice and international and legal norms of regulation of migratory population movement. Acquisition of independence by the republics of the former USSR affected the migratory processes in Ukraine, entailing increasing of mass streams of refugees, repatriates, seekers of refuge, etc.
