Sensations and scandals of London Olympiad

Great attention was paid to the Games in London by the whole world so that even insignificant events during the competitions could be immediately turned to the sensation or scandal! What made the Olympic Games-2012 be memorized?
During the thirtieth summer Olympiad 302 sets of medals in thirty six sports has been held. And most rewards were disputed by the athletes (47) and swimmers (34). Sportsmen from 204 countries participated in the competitions, 95 records were broken (39 world and 56 Olympic records)! Well, and, of course, the Games were memorized by the triumph of the American swimmer Michael Phelps, unique achievements of the Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, by the doping scandals and six gold medals of the Ukrainian Olympians.
