On July 12, 2012 in Yalta once again the meeting between the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and Russian President Vladimir Putin was held for the purpose of joint presidency during the fifth meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental commission, which ended with the signing of the several bilateral agreements in the key areas of cooperation.
