Ivan Mosyuk has been the head of Starunya village which is in Bohoradchansk district of Ivano-Frankivsk region since Ukraine became independent

Eighteen grant projects have been implemented in the spheres of education, medicine, sports, ecology, agriculture, municipal improvement of the village, and culture. The next step is a touristic project and the search for the alternative types of energy supply

Starunya village is located on seven hills. Its landscape attracts everyone. And these features of relief encourage a rural head Ivan Mosyuk to make up new ideas. His task is to create the terms of the comfortable living for the fellow-villagers. The village occupies 25 square km territory, and it has 58 kilometers of roads which are maintained in the proper state with difficulties. Frequent rains, thundershowers, snow-falls in the foot-hill of the Carpathians have a strong damaging impact of the roads.
