Safety of law enforcement and personal security police workers during public order protection during the sports events of Euro-2012

The conducting of the finals of Euro 2012 in Ukraine requires the leadership of our state to provide the designed and balanced measures on early adaptation of different spheres of the society to the requirements of sports competition of that level. After changing the normal rhythm of life, restriction of traffic, congestion of many people in a particular area - all of which, consequently, promotes the growth of emotional tension among citizens. With this in mind and according to the Law of Ukraine “On organization and holding of finals of the European Championship in 2012 in Ukraine” the main purpose of law enforcement agencies is “to ensure safety and security during the tournament.”
