204 kilometers from the north to the south, 196 kilometers from the west to the east is on the whole 26.5 thousand square kilometers, which are divided into 27 districts. Presently it is Vinnytsya region. 80 years ago, at the time of its creation on February, 27, 1932, new territorial formation was united by 69 districts and two separate cities – Vinnytsya and Berdychiv. The territory has been “refashioned” several times afterwards. As a result, part of districts was passed to the newly created regions. And 4.5 percent of the countries’ territory remained for Vinnytsya. Some European countries have approximately the same areas.
