Historical aspects of the concept of national sovereignty creation

The idea of sovereignty in the modern sense was born and began to develop primarily in medieval France. The idea of sovereignty, absolute rule and independence of the government as a sovereign territorial union was formulated and implemented in the confrontation of royal power and feudal rule.
Etymologically the term “sovereignty” comes from the Medieval Latin word superareitas (from supra, superior) - superanitas - soveranitas. Superior, superanus means “highest” and in old French means goes as sovrains, in Italian - soverano, the Spanish and Portuguese - soberano [6].
