Office and hotel or after all fine-arts fate of the Andriivkyi Uzviz?

Renovation and reconstruction of the Andriivkyi Uzviz, which was approved by KMDA within the framework of conception of its transformation to the cultural and recreation center, began already in October, 2011. From the beginning ten level shopping and recreation and hotel centers were planned to be built there. Presently the first stage, which included repair of roads, networks, installation of electrical equipment and other communications, has been almost completed. The architectural feature of Uzviz is mainly 2–3 level houses, and ten new high-rise buildings (about ten levels, according to the project) will fall out of “the overall context”.
