Heorhiy BEREZOVSKIY: “There is no village where we have not built something”

The agricultural building society “Kolos” from Storozhynets is long known by its good deeds not only in Bukovyna. During the times of the Soviet Union it became the first farmer’s enterprise in Ukraine established on principles of cooperative ownership. On the one handthere was an unlimited field for the initiative but on the other hand – the complete absence of directives on the stock materials – wood, brick, cement, which were chronically lacked even for state construction companies.

To be left without a brick factory for such a highly professional team as the agricultural building society “Kolos” is almost the same that to be left without arms.
