Village Library: the last barricades?

Scanty funds that are diverted into projects of development of libraries in Ukraine, the absence of scientific research institutions in the field of librarianship, the pension age of majority of directors not only rural but also leading libraries. As well as unsystematic funds updating, weak physical infrastructure, reducing network libraries especially in rural areas. These are state and prospects of library business in Ukraine.
