Security classification becomes the classification of openness

In 2001 in Pervomaysk that is in the Mykolayiv region the last silo launcher of the intercontinental ballistic missile RS-22 was destroyed. But the central starting position of the unified battle command post of the 309th missile regiment that was the part of the famous 43rd army with ground equipment and various auxiliary machinery kept in good working conditon and turned into a Museum of the Strategic Rocket Forces.
The elimination of nuclear weapons started a new page in the history of this picturesque city on the Southern Bug River. Today there is a separate radar company, separate battalion of electronic warfare and anti-aircraft missile regiment which is armed with modern anti-aircraft missile system S-300 PS. These contacts with the confidential past of Pervomaysk began my trip in this garrison.
