Annexation of Ukrainian History Or, to Be More Precise, of Spirituality and Morality?

Controlling the adherence to the legislation on museums and museum affairs, protection of cultural legacy, freedom of conscience and religious organizations, on June, 1, 2011 the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Culture and Spirituality (with the participation of the Chairman of the Committee on Judicial Policy Serhiy Mishchenko) conducted the offsite meeting in Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi of the Kyiv region where “the state and prospects of development of the National Historic and Ethnographic Reserve “Pereyaslav” as the center of Ukrainian spirituality (in the context of preparation to the celebration of 200th anniversary of T. Shevchenko and 300th anniversary of H. Skovoroda)” were discussed.
