Stanislav Mykolayovych KONYUKHOV

On April, 3, 2011 the Hero of Ukraine, General Designer - General Director – scientific supervisor of Design Bureau “Pivdenne”, chief designer of space-rocket systems in Ukraine, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vice President of the International Academy of Astronautics, winner of USSR State Award and the State Prize of Ukraine, Honored machinist of Ukraine, Doctor of technical sciences, Professor Stanislav Mykolayovych Konyukhov passed away.

He brought up a galaxy of scientists, planners, designers, testers, producers, having left the unique world-class rocket-space school.

The contribution of S.M. Konyukhov to the formation and strengthening of Ukraine as one of the leading rocket and space country of the World is inestimable. He is the author of the National Space Program of Ukraine.
