Political Advertisement as a Process of Communication

Political advertisement is an advertisement of political parties (associations), public authorities, state and public organizations, and also those citizens who take part in political activity, their actions, ideas, programs and attitude toward some organizations, events, citizens, ideas. From the point of view of political psychology, political advertisement is a system of communications which are designed to change consciousness and conduct of people in accordance with the political aims of advertiser (political parties, movements, leaders).
Main objective of political advertising is the purposeful influence on public opinion and it distinguishes the political advertisement among other ways of interpersonal intercourse. Today the role of political advertisement in political life of the society grows constantly, especially during election.
