Before the beginning of the first session of a newly elected Chernihiv regional board, the member of BYT Ivan Shylepnyts'kiy and the member of "Nasha Ukraina" Oleksandr Hrushko, the head of regional board of the previous convocation were the candidates on the post of its head.
