Society should know its deputy not only in a face

One of pressing questions of political contemporaneity is determination of date and system of future local elections in Ukraine. Every political force has the opinion in relation to expediency of one or other electoral system - majority, proportional or mixed. It is first of all necessary shortly to consider their essence.
Majority system is the oldest one. Its name of her originates from French word "majorite" that means "majority". According to elections after the majority electoral system a deputy mandate from a district is got by a candidate, who got most voices of electors. There is advantage of such system – it has democratic character because she takes into account interests of majority of electors.
