Declaration and Constitution

These things change human life and force thought to catch on them

On June, 21 scientific and research conference “Conception of the Legal State in the Light of Declaration on State Sovereignty and the Constitution of Ukraine” took place in the large conference hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The arrangement was organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of State and Right named after V.M. Koretskyi of the NAS of Ukraine, editorial staff of “Viche” magazine of the Verkhovna Rada.  

Mass-media spoiled the readers. A lazy journalist feeds them with made to order meals ready to eat, which include sacral hymns pronounced by the first persons, official messages from the offices of the first persons, and “goofs” of the first persons (for a dessert). I wish the conversation of academic scientists had been reported to the ear of public. In fact, despite formal and considered name, the conversation at the conference turned out to be in no way formal and very substantial as of its “significance”. I would like to mention the participants:  the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, academician Yuriy Shemshuchenko, academician Valeriy Geyts, doctor of political sciences Volodymyr Gorbatenko, candidate of economic sciences and the Chairman of the Account Chamber Valentyna Symonenko, doctor of historical sciences Andriy Kudryachenko, doctor of legal sciences Oleksiy Yushchuk, doctor of legal sciences Vasyl Sirenko, judge of the Constitutional Court Volodymyr Kampo, doctor of legal sciences Valeriy Semchyk etc.
