Poor Ukrainians

National deputy Vasyl Khara, who has been working at the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on the questions of social policy and labour, reminded to the participants of the “round-table” “Realities and Perspectives of Overcoming of Poverty in Ukraine” that in the times when V. Yanukovych was the Premier Minister they almost managed to overcome poverty and presently it has again “taken off its belt”. “The struggle against this phenomenon has been carried out since 2000. Then measures on overcoming of poverty at state level were already developed, they were successfully executed, poverty was almost overcome, however now the situation has become more acute”, – the member of parliament said.
