Penguins in... Corridors

The fulfillment of the Governmental program of Antarctic researches on 2002–2010 is marked by the row of momentous events for the researchers of the Antarctic Region: by celebration of a ten-year anniversary of the Academician Vernadskiy station, the participation of the Ukrainian research workers in actions proclaimed by UNESCO the third International arctic year (IPY-III), building of a new fuel tank on the station, and also by the next Advisory conference of countries – members of Agreement about Antarctic Region which takes place in Kyiv on June 2-13, 2008.
