Gas bomb

When on Saturday, on October, 13, 2007, in cold rainy morning at 10 o'clock 48 minutes (it is so fixed in official messages) all Ukraine gave start because of a tragedy that happened in Dnipropetrovsk in the Mandrykivska street, in the 127 housing estate Victory-1, Mykola Omelchenko was not in the home town.

– I am not among the supporter of any politicalization of this calamity, but Yuliya Tymoshenko, the leader of the block of the same name, who also visited the place of tragedy and in public declared that the transmission by the state of such important structures, as “Dniprogas”, in private hands is a crime, it is enough honest position, – gives his own professional estimation Mykola Omelchenko, – because in the gas pipelines of all levels (they belonged and still belong to state property) any private structure, that takes them in the management, is not able to create the adequate approved by decades system of safety of gas users and will not hurry to invest money in development, but will only save on the technological providing and maintenance of the gas systems.

And if the transmission in the private management of some explosive objects took place, different laws of Ukraine exist and operate that foresee obligatory insurance of responsibility of user by such objects. The question is not about loss payees to victims, but about necessarily independent and professional control by an insurance company system which will not permit any violations, because it corresponds to its personal funds for negligence of the insured person. It has not also been done.
