– Мені кави, будь ласка. – І'm sorry, what?..

or foreign language as a condition of political comfort

I remembered about coffee not accidentally. Two years ago I was a witness when one of permanent representatives of the parliament of Ukraine in the European Council could not order a drink in the buffet of the European Palace. He had a pocket full of euros, but he didn’t know how to say. Fortunately, his colleague, for whom English was native for a long time, came up. He did not allow a deputy to blush. Common example from the real political life. So a deputy could not simply order a coffee. What can we say then about comprehensible appearances in the session hall of PAEC?
