For health – go to the pharmacy-museum

Going for a walk in the narrow streets of old Lutsk, the guests of city necessarily stop at a small house on a former Market square. The original forged signboard reports with the bowl wrapped by a snake that the pharmacy-museum is located here (in a picture).

Meter thick walls of the house keep coolness even in a heat, in winter they keep from a cold. The interior of an age-old pharmacy is reproduced in a trading hall. Along walls there are centenary birch bark closets with the great number of boxes, where medications are kept. On the top behind the glass there are different damasks, bottles and mortars. Under ceiling there are busts of Hippocrates and Socrates.
