Parisian vagabonds set up a small town along the Seine River. So tourists “feast their eye” upon their camp next to gothic and empire-style facades.
Now the special governmental commission examines the possibility of solving the housing problem of each of 250 habitants of embankment. This situation induced the government to declare the plan of housing homeless and people who need improvement of housing conditions. The minister of housing Jean-Luis Borloo spread a communiqué, where it is reported that additional dwelling-places will be created for 13 500 people in 2007. Presently the fund of social housing can give the apartment only to 27 000 people. The minister is convinced that the housing question will be solved “once and for all” in 2007.
