General Anatolii NAUMENKO: “The war made us stronger”

Anatolii Naumenko was appointed to the position of the Head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Luhansk region more than a year ago. The course of stormy events in Donbas was then very swift. The gloomy armed people wandered in the streets of the city in camouflage, the flag of unknown origin hang on the top of the occupied premises of the State Security Service of Ukraine, and the basement of this worthy establishment was turned into a prison where mostly local Ukrainian patriots and police officers were kept. General Naumenko immediately decided to conduct negotiations with those who proclaimed themselves a new power, and asked for the explanations. In reply they fired a round. Fortunately, they shot in ceiling.
