On May 8 for the first time with the whole Europe Ukraine mourned all victims of the Second World War. On the Day of Memory and Reconciliation seats of MPs were taken by those who know about war not from talks and feature films. For the first time in history in the session hall of the Ukrainian parliament gathered veterans of the Red Army, the UPA and the ATO members. The President and Prime bypassed with handshakes with everyone. Subsequently veterans of the Second World War shook their hands. But the main events on May 9, devoted to Victory Day were held in the Glory Park and Memorial Complex “National Museum of history of Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” That day the leaders of the country with veterans laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and near Motherland monument the President of Ukraine took the oath of recruits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
