“Do not sleep, because you do not know your hour” – is written on Latin clock bell of Lviv’s City Hall

Every day going Lviv I hear a clock strokeon the town hall. Once again peer like face of the city is changing and notice the environment, which forms its architectural and historical appearance is disappearing.
Lviv citizens are being brutally and rudely deprivated of the space, which during centuries was created by architects according to the law of harmony in the city: took into account the height of buildings, directions of streets, squares, decorated facades of buildings, selected windows, doors, latches on them, laid mosaic floors in porches, put magnificent forged or carved wooden gates. Also created alive oases among cobbled streets and original stone buildings - parks, squares, boulevards ...
