Groups of interests in politics: experience of typologization

Typologization of groups of interests which are represented in modern politics, acquires status of scientific problem because of such reasons. The first one, the division of groups according to types is the basic method of theoretical identification of content of their activity, selection of essence features of their composition, organization, role and value for the political sphere. However the principles of selection of types are remote from unambiguity and deprived of unity in the use of criteria. It conditions on the necessity of determination of all problem moments which prevent from construction of adequate conception of functioning of different types of groups of political interests as a substantial aspect of political process. The second one, the change of typologizational apparatus is conditioned by the high rates of democratization. Composition and character of groups of interest, configuration of their mutual relations and relationships with power and state structures change in accordance with the changeable parameters of general transformation background. Under these circumstances “classic” groups of interests give way to “new formations” and it needs reinterpretation of the set practice of typologization.
