As to the question of essence and character of the Orange revolution

The orange revolution evoked the ambiguous reaction not only in the field of politics, but also in scientific community. The scientists of different specialities tried to give an answer to the question concerning the nature and character of this mass demonstration of national activity and initiative. The question concerning the accordance of events of November-December, 2004 in Ukraine with the normative characteristics of revolution remains debatable.
